The brand name means "wear" in French. We have one store in Ebisu, Tokyo, and we are expanding in seven countries around the world. Thirty years later, when I see chausser shoes at a second-hand clothing store, I want to make universal shoes that are timeless and will make you want to wear them. And I want to aim for "shoes that can be worn for 30 years" if they are maintained. With that in mind, I am aiming to make shoes that I will always want to wear.

chausser shoes are not made for mass production. Warmth and adorable shoes not found in mass-produced products. Even if you leave the hands of the craftsman, the taste will increase over time with the wearer, and eventually it will sublimate into a unique existence. That may be the charm of chausser shoes.
