Inspired by space and plants

This bangle is designed by Martin Bergstrom, a text designer who plans and designs the weaving, dyeing and processing of threads by selecting the materials to be used from the design drawings of clothing and interiors. Inspired by the unknown cosmic atmosphere and the Solanaceae plant Hyoscyamus niger native to the Eurasian continent. It features a wavy design that mixes the distortion of outer space and the floating sensation of toxic Hyoscyamus niger. Martin Bergstrom wanted to intertwin his work with SKULTUNA, which has a history of 400 years. Therefore, we will investigate the reason why the manufacturer chose it as the production area. Then, he learned about the history and traditions around the factory, such as the mystery of ironware buried in the Iron Age and the proximity of the Svarta River to the lush forest, and stimulated his own artistic sense. The result is a unique design inspired by nature.

Founded as a brass foundry by King Charles IX of Sweden in Sweden, which is known as one of the leading producers of copper in Europe.
