I.Ronni Kappos handmakes each piece of jewelry from a collection of vintage German beads brought together by high technology from the 1920s and 1930s.The materials and colors are from the early 20th century, and the beads used are from the same period, giving them an expressive power.She draws inspiration for much of her collection from the work of Bauhaus artists, and painters such as Klee, Kandinsky, Mondrian, and Elban are the source of her work.

Ronni Kappos, along with her twin sister Marina Kappos, was influenced by their grandmother, a painter, and from an early age developed an interest in creative pursuits such as music and art, and studied art history in college.（She studied art history in college.
