Making products that inherit traditional techniques

Burleigh, which feels good old England, has some antiques on the market, and the reason is that there is a traditional manufacturing method like a print called "copper plate transfer" that has been going on for 200 years.
"Copper plate transfer" is also a craftsman's job to make the plate itself, and it seems that it takes more than 6 weeks to hand-carve a fine pattern on a roll-shaped copper plate using various needles and complete one pattern. ..
It is made by applying ink to the copper plate, copying the pattern on flat paper, and then copying it to three-dimensional pottery before the ink on the paper dries. Every process is done by a dedicated craftsman, and Burleigh is the only manufacturer that has inherited the technology to date.
In addition, the soil is also made in the United Kingdom, and we are particular about making raw materials. The soil used is constantly stirred in a liquid state by a device called a slip house, and when it reaches an appropriate concentration, it is poured into a plaster mold. After that, it is stored in a drying rack for several days, and when it dries, it is removed from the mold and unglazed is completed. The unglazed state, which uses a sponge to smooth the surface one by one, also involves a very delicate process.
