WHIRL WIND is one of the popular WALSH models made by Norman Walsh as a brother model of the road running shoes "LA'84" developed for the British athletes participating in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. While retaining the classical design of the time, it has been updated with high-quality materials and stylish colors.

Born from the hands of a genius shoemaker

In 1945, at the age of 14, Norman Walsh chose to become a shoemaker. He entered Foster Bros Footwear, which was run by Reebok's founder's grandfather, as an apprentice and devoted himself to making shoes. Norman's high technology, which was found by Mr. Foster, is said to have been recognized as a master craftsman, and he will be working on the shoes of the British Olympic team at the age of 16. Norman's shoes became known to the world's top athletes as athletes' records increased tremendously at the Olympics as well.

In 1961, Norman founded Norman Walsh Footwear. Since then, he has produced sneakers for track, field, cricket, football, rugby and all fields. In 1981, he provided shoes for the Everest expedition. Flexible shoes that can withstand harsh environments are recognized worldwide. Walsh sneakers are all handmade. From sewing to bottoming and packing, we do it at our own factory in Bolton, England, and craftsmen who have inherited Norman's craftsmanship to meet the needs of various customers continue to carefully make each pair.
