1000-year-old manufacturing method

The bridle leather used for the belt was made as harness for horseback riding. In order to create a supple, waterproof and robust leather, we use eco-friendly oak sap and tan it while slowly aging for 18 months. In fact, this manufacturing method is almost the same as that used at the time of Roman Empire rule (50 AD) when the history of England began 1000 years ago. With the increasing number of convenient and easy-to-use products, the craftsmanship of MARTIN FAIZEY, which inherits the old-fashioned manufacturing method to maintain reliable quality, is also the reason why I want to use it carefully for a long time.

Thick and durable thin belt

Martin Fazy, who has been involved in belt making for 36 years at the belt workshop of Danes & Hathaway, a long-established British leather brand founded in 1922. In 2011, he started MARTIN FAIZEY, a brand bearing his own name, at his workshop in Wochester, England, due to the end of product supply to Danes & Hathaway.
