Reproduction of classic marathon shoes

Marathon Runner Trail Birch/ACAJOU is a reissue model of classic marathon shoes from the early 1950s. In 1988, it was updated as a marathon shoe for Olympic athletes, and is now a standard NOVESTA model.

The upper is based on recycled mesh, so it's lightweight and supple. The lining is made of synthetic leather, so it won't get stuffy, and the TRAIL sole model with good grip is used, so you can walk firmly even in places where your feet are bad.

NOVESTA was founded in 1939 by JanAntoninBata, the founding family of BataGroup, in a small town called Partizánske, located in the former Czech Slovakia, now in central Slovakia, to build a factory to produce rain boots and sneakers. It starts with This area later developed into the district BATA Industrial Park, which later became famous as a shoe factory. NOVESTA eventually became the largest shoe factory in Slovakia in this area, and since 1950 it has been commissioned to produce military trainer shoes all over the world.

A shoe factory specializing in rubber and canvas products, while being influenced by the Second World War, the Cold War, the socialist era and the history of national division, produces pure Slovak footwear such as military, work, rubber boots, and running shoes. We have been consistently making wear since our founding. In 1992, after the split between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, NOVESTA, a pure Slovakian sneaker brand, was born, making a name for itself as one of Europe's leading factories during the half-century since its establishment.

NOVESTA, which is particular about quality, has built a production system that clears high environmental and social standards. Almost all products are made from carefully selected natural materials such as natural rubber, cotton and linen, and 90% of the sneakers produced by the vulcanized manufacturing process are handmade by craftsmen. NOVESTA is one of the few factories in Europe that continues to aim for sustainable manufacturing that is friendly to the global environment.
