Mr. Shuji Mitsuda, the founder and creator of MARVELETS, was influenced by his mother who was a couture designer and worked as a clothing designer in Paris, France. At that time, I happened to visit his senior designer's bag factory and was struck by the appeal of leather and the fun of processing, which later led to the start of MARVELETS. Clothes are usually completed through the hands of many people. Bags, on the other hand, have the appeal of being able to be handmade by just one person by dyeing the leather in the desired color. Attracted by this charm, Mr. Mitsuda moved to Okayama Prefecture, where he could devote himself more fully to bag production, and started MARVELETS.

In addition, we are particular about using natural materials and vegetable tanning that reveal the power of nature over time, and we combine materials such as linen and wool in addition to leather, and create finishings based on original recipes.
