MARVELETS has bags that will make you want to ask, "Which bag is that?" The canvas bag SOILU S is also based on a basic round-bottomed tote bag, but it has a slightly different feel from the standard. This MARVELETS bag has both the delicate craftsmanship of a Parisian designer and a vintage military atmosphere.
The more you use it, the more the taste increases
The canvas bag SOILU S has a distinctive design with two handles of different lengths. When it comes to tote bags, the appeal is that they make it easy to put things in and take them out, but many people may also be concerned about the fact that it's easy to see what's inside. The canvas bag SOILU S is designed to be used as a one-handle shoulder bag by passing the long handle through the short handle, which closes the opening and makes it difficult to see the contents. There are no additional parts or decorations, and this may be the simplest solution for a tote bag.
The surface of the canvas fabric is treated with waterproof paraffin, which gives it a vintage military feel that looks like it has been used for many years. Hand punched rivets similar to those used in vintage denim are used to reinforce the handles and shoulders. The bottom is double-layered and cross-stitched, and is made with great attention to detail, showing off the sincere attitude typical of MARVELETS.
Many canvas bags are a little stiff, but the SOILU S canvas bag has been holding up well since I started using it. We offer three colors: RED, which is perfect as an accent color, CHARCOAL GRAY, which is a versatile color that goes well with any clothes you already have, and OD MILITARY. It's the perfect size for holidays, and can fit plastic bottles and compact folding umbrellas.
Unlike clothes, which can be mixed and matched every day, a bag that you use when you go out on a daily basis is a tool that you want to use over and over again. Please use it a lot and enjoy the deepening taste.

Put the beliefs cultivated in France into your bag
Mr. Shuji Mitsuda, the founder and creator of MARVELETS, was influenced by his mother who was a couture designer and worked as a clothing designer in Paris, France. At that time, I happened to visit his senior designer's bag factory and was struck by the appeal of leather and the fun of processing, which later led to the start of MARVELETS. Clothes are usually completed through the hands of many people. Bags, on the other hand, have the appeal of being able to be handmade by just one person by dyeing the leather in the desired color. Attracted by this charm, Mr. Mitsuda moved to Okayama Prefecture, where he could devote himself more fully to bag production, and started MARVELETS.
``Things that gain more depth over time'' ``Things that fade and become more attached to them.'' This is Mr. Mitsuda's manufacturing concept. Europeans know that they use things with care for a long time and that their value increases. The bags designed by Mr. Mitsuda, who is influenced by European culture, reflect a unique sensibility that is timeless.
For MARVELETS bags, Mr. Mitsuda undertakes all of the patterning, sewing, dyeing, and finishing, and all important parts are done by hand. In addition, we are particular about using natural materials and vegetable tanning that reveal the power of nature over time, and we combine materials such as linen and wool in addition to leather, and create finishings based on original recipes. The exquisite combination of sensibilities and craftsmanship cultivated over many years creates bags with a unique texture that gives them an antique feel that is unique to MARVELETS.

MARVELETS started in 2006. Shuji Mitsuda, who was active as a fashion designer in Paris, France, was shocked by the charm of leather and the fun of processing, which was the reason for the brand. Mr. Mitsuda, who plays the roles of craftsman and designer alone, creates one prototype by doing all of the patterning, sewing, dyeing, and finishing with his own hands. Leather is procured at the initial stage called "crust" before Nume leather, and in general, the part that Tanner does is done by himself and made into the particular leather. All the production process is done in Japan, and all the important parts are done by hand. MARVELETS bags are made by combining natural materials such as linen and wool in addition to leather, and finishing with original recipes. By doing so, the unique texture of MARVELETS is born, which gives it an antique atmosphere.
