The fabric is ``Nameraka Tenjiku'' (double sheeting gauze), a popular fabric from ao, which is knitted with ultra-fine thread made from 100% Supima cotton, a high-quality cotton called ``cotton cashmere.'' The fabric is originally known for its moist, smooth texture and lightness, but this series also uses silk-blend yarn on the surface that touches the skin, giving it a luxurious feel that is unique to silk. Silk is made from a protein similar to that of human skin, so it blends well into the skin, making it a material often chosen for nightwear.

A great feature of double jersey gauze is that it absorbs moisture well, so it can be worn comfortably in all seasons, even in sweaty seasons, and because it traps air between the fabrics to keep you warm, even in chilly seasons.
