The crew neck pullover is loose and easy to wear. The 8/4 length sleeves are dolman sleeves, so they don't tighten around your arms and can be worn comfortably. The neck is well-rounded and well-balanced for ease of use. This pullover is made with no seams on the shoulders, allowing you to feel the comfort of the fabric, and is designed to be refreshingly comfortable to wear.

The fabric is ``Nameraka Tenjiku'' (double sheeting gauze), a popular fabric from ao, which is knitted with ultra-fine thread made from 100% Supima cotton, a high-quality cotton called ``cotton cashmere.'' The fabric is originally known for its moist, smooth texture and lightness, but this series also uses silk-blend yarn on the surface that touches the skin, giving it a luxurious feel that is unique to silk. Silk is made from a protein similar to that of human skin, so it blends well into the skin, making it a material often chosen for nightwear.

A great feature of double jersey gauze is that it absorbs moisture well, so it can be worn comfortably in all seasons, even in sweaty seasons, and because it traps air between the fabrics to keep you warm, even in chilly seasons. It is also suitable for people with sensitive skin as it does not cause much stress on the skin.

Gauze is a fabric made by loosely twisting cotton threads and woven loosely in alternating vertical and horizontal directions. It is characterized by good moisture absorption, quick drying, and good breathability. When we think of gauze, we tend to associate it with summer because it absorbs sweat well, but gauze that has double or triple layers has air layers in between, making it surprisingly warm, so it's actually great for the chilly seasons. It is also a suitable fabric. Another attractive feature of the fabric is that it is woven loosely so that the density of the threads is low, giving it a lightness and softness that makes it feel like it is surrounded by air.

From a sewing factory in Niigata

ao is a factory brand launched by a sewing factory in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture. Using the technology we have cultivated over many years as a sewing factory, we create clothes using gauze, which is a labor-intensive process to sew. The products are created by paying attention to every detail, such as folding the seam allowances and pressing down the seams, folding and sewing, and sewing into bag shapes, all of which are gentle and comfortable on the skin. In addition, at ao, we believe in the potential of gauze and are actively developing original gauze fabrics, such as double gauze with a coarse mesh, single layer gauze with a transparent feel, and dyed products that do not look like gauze at first glance.
