ZUTTO's custom-designed cotton blouse blouse is a perfect expression of FACTORY's strength in creating unique fabrics. This is a fabric called ``Omi Sarashi'' which has a crisp texture and is unevenly dyed using a dyeing method devised by FACTORY.

Omi sarashi produced in the Koto region of Shiga Prefecture. The fabric is bleached to make it softer and easier to dye, during the bleaching process, where the fabric is carefully kneaded over time to create fine wrinkles and grains. Omi Sarashi is made using a time-honored technique called ``untwisting,'' in which craftsmen loosen the fabric by hand, one roll at a time. The ashes produced by burning wood and other plants were poured with lye dissolved in water and exposed to sunlight for about 10 days, then placed in a cauldron and heated with lye and exposed to sunlight several times. After washing it, it is dried and exposed. This time and effort creates a texture that allows you to enjoy the high-density crispness of antique fabric.

The color is an uneven dyed black that brings out the goodness of Omi-sarashi. A black that gives a sense of depth is produced, unlike a plain black that looks like a clear night sky. Although we are a small company, we continue to make clothes with particular attention to detail, and our current form of creation, in which we handle all planning, material development, manufacturing, and production ourselves, was born. All the design patterns of such FACTORY are produced in a design atelier in Tokyo. Our staff, who have extensive experience in pattern making at collection brands, create all shapes using 3D cutting and repeat sample stitching over and over again to create a design that is comfortable to wear without being tied to trends, and is simple but comfortable to wear. The one and only clothes that are "a little unique" are finished. And based on the patterns created, the company's own factory in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture produces clothes.
