Handvaerk's products are based on a design that pays close attention to detail, and each piece of handvaerk is carefully made by hand, without omitting any small steps. Handvaerk introduces bottleneck T-shirts S/S made of high-quality, soft, and comfortable material. It features French sleeves that fall gently from the shoulders, giving a neat look around the shoulders and arms.

The jersey fabric used is knitted from high quality pima cotton. Pima cotton is one of the finest organic cotton fibers, and its smooth texture makes it impossible to let go of once you put it on. The mercerized finish adds a silky sheen to the fabric. The fabric has a moderate thickness, so you can wear it without worrying about transparency.

handvaerk is a cut and sew brand founded in New York in 2013. It was founded by Esteban Saba, a former major investment banker, and his wife Petra, who studied art and textile design at university in Prague. Esteban, who grew up in Peru in a family that has owned garment and textile factories for three generations, graduated from college in California and earned an MBA from Cago Business School. After a successful career as an elite banker specializing in M&A at a major bank, he left Wall Street and started handvaerk.

Handvaerk personally procures Peruvian cotton (Pima cotton) and performs all processes from spinning, knitting, dyeing, and sewing at a factory run by a family member. In 2015, we launched our own factory and gradually shifted to in-house production, further improving the quality of our products through consistent product management.
