The OKKAKE shirt, which is also the brand icon of SETTO, has been made into a short-sleeved spring/summer design. The classic stand-up collar unique to OKKAKE shirts remains the same, but the wide cuffs allow air to pass through for a refreshing feel. It is more elegant than a cut-and-sew shirt and more casual than a regular shirt, so it is nice to be able to put together a casual and elegant style.
BEG: We also carry the SS FARMS shirt, which is made of the same material but with a different design.
Smooth and comfortable
The fabric used for BEG is a typewriter material woven at a high density with 80-count fine thread. Although it is a high-density structure, it is characterized by a resilient and moist texture due to the washer finish mixed with resin. The washed-out look and rough expression create a more natural atmosphere. A collared shirt has a somewhat formal image, but the relaxed material makes it casual enough.
The design is based on SETTO's standard item "OKKAKE shirt", but the sleeve length has been changed to about elbow length. The short length is also a key point, and it is set with an exquisite balance that makes it easy to match with any outfit. The stand collar makes the neck look long and slender, and has a characteristic classical atmosphere, making it a design that accentuates the outfit.
The striped pattern is available in three colors: refreshing BLU, soft BEG, and clean GRY, and the basic BEG color is available in solid colors. All colors can be worn elegantly with any bottoms. You can wear it casually with denim, or you can wear it with a voluminous flared skirt as it will balance well with the length.
Clothes that become your partner
SETTO continues to make comfortable clothes that are meant to be used for a long time. The brand has been developed since 2014 by Japan Blue Co., Ltd., a textile manufacturer in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, known for providing materials to domestic and international brands.
Kurashiki and Kojima, now known as the mecca of denim, were once an island floating in the Seto Inland Sea. The land created by reclaiming shallow waters became a popular place for growing cotton, which is more tolerant of salt than rice, and the spinning industry developed. Before the war, when clothing began to become more westernized, they made school uniforms and jeans, and after the war, Kojima became a leading producer of jeans after the American workwear boom and jeans boom. Japan Blue Co., Ltd. has continued to make casual wear fabrics in Kojima, a place with such a history. This is why they continue to make convincing and valuable clothes.
SETTO's distinctive feature is that they consider material development to be design, and are particular about threads, fabrics, colors, and shapes based on the know-how they have gained from planning and selling textiles. They consider clothes to be long-lasting partners, and continue to create clothes that value the essence while finding the joy and fun of surprises and discoveries in everyday life.

Kurashiki and Kojima, also known as Denim holy land, are lands originally created by draining shallow water. As a result, cotton cultivation, which is more salty than rice production, is popular, and the spinning industry develops. I worked on jeans from before the war, and after the war, the work wear boom in the United States, and the jeans boom, became a representative production area of jeans.
The characteristic of SETTO is that the development of materials is also considered as design, and it is based on the know-how obtained in planning and sales of textiles, and it is stuck with yarn, fabric, color and shape. We regard clothes as a long-term partner and continue making clothes that value the essence while finding surprises, discoveries, and pleasures in our daily lives.
