This blanket reminds me of the beautiful scenery of Scandinavia at first glance.
Created by Japanese designer Aoi Yoshizawa who lives in Helsinki, ``SAARI'' is a series inspired by Finland's rich nature, and as the name suggests, it means ``small island'' in Finnish. The collection, which is said to be inspired by the scenery seen from Halakka Island in Finland, evokes the feeling of the horizon and water surface, and is a wonderful design that uses large fabrics to effectively influence the interior design. When unfolded, it seems to spread the great outdoors indoors, and this special piece allows you to feel both the ripples, the clear air, and the beauty and harshness of nature, making it an item that makes you feel calm.
The material is high-quality washed linen, which is soft and feels good on the skin due to the washing process after the product is finished. It has high water absorption and water repellency, as well as antibacterial and non-allergenic properties, making it hygienic and safe to use.
A blanket that makes you feel the joy of living in harmony with nature, not only in its beauty, but also in its functionality and sustainability. This piece allows you to incorporate Scandinavian scenery into your daily life and enjoy living in harmony with nature.
The linen blanket incorporates the nature of Finland into its design, creating a comfortable space when used as an interior design that expresses Finland's nature (the border between the waterfront and the sky in the morning and evening).
This linen blanket can be used for a long time while gently adding color to your room and enjoying the changes in the material that will become more familiar to your skin the more you use it. Recommended as a wedding gift or moving gift to mark the start of a new life.
Linen for daily life
When you first use linen, you have the impression that it is hard and firm, but this blanket has been washed once after the product is completed, so from the first time you use it, it is so soft that you feel like it is yours. It is a blanket that is gentle on your bare skin and blends well with your skin, overcoming the initial hard impression.
Bed linen is a place where you can especially feel its quality. Whether it's hot nights that make it hard to sleep or chilly days, linen blankets help create a comfortable sleeping environment. In addition, if you place it on a sofa or chair in the living room, you can quickly put it on when you want to use it, and even if you don't use it, it can become an accent to your interior. Linen material is also highly durable, making it a valuable item that can be used for a long time. It is also recommended to use it as a table cloth or leisure sheet for picnics, as it easily removes dirt and can be washed without hesitation.
Finland, known as the “Land of Forests and Lakes,” is a region full of nature, as its name suggests. Finnish people enjoy living in harmony with nature while feeling the changing seasons, and are accustomed to living with linen, a natural material. Linen fabrics can be used as bedding or as leisure sheets, while smaller ones can be used to wrap towels, kitchen cloths, lunch wraps, and harvested wild vegetables due to their water-repellent properties. .
Manufacturing to enrich people's lives
LAPUAN KANKURIT is particular about the materials it uses, and is the only manufacturer in Scandinavia to receive the Master of Linen certification for linen products. We are particular about the selection of materials, importing soft linen products from South America and hard products from New Zealand and Scandinavian countries, selecting the linen material that is most suitable for each usage scenario. As a result of their research on how to weave the edges (selvages) of fabric beautifully, they are so particular about making linen products that they even have their own weaving machine. Furthermore, through consistent production at our own factory, we are able to offer products at reasonable prices, which shows that LAPUAN KANKURIT aims to be a part of people's daily lives. LAPUAN KANKURIT, which has been manufacturing products of the same quality for four generations, delivers products that you will want to use forever.

「ラプアの織り手たち」を意味するLAPUAN KANKURIT(ラプアンカンクリ)。
