A ring unique to KISSO, born from the beautiful colors of Italy and the delicate glasses processing technology of Sabae. A craftsman creates a ring with a special technique, carefully carving out a rough stone called cellulose acetate, and polishing it repeatedly to create a ring full of KISSO's unique charm.

This matte series is named "Frost", and is finished with a sand-beating process that makes it look like it has frost. This is a process that is also used for glasses frames, and by spraying fine glass beads on it, a matte and soft nuance is created.

The round, plump shape is adorable, and the design is voluminous yet calm. Although it is a large ring, it is very light, unlike metal or glass rings. Material called cellulose acetate

The material used is cellulose acetate from Mazzucchelli, Italy. This world-leading brand is known for the color sense of Italian artisans' handmade products and the vividness of their colors, which are so clear that they are almost transparent. More than half of the cell frame glasses released by global fashion brands use acetate sheets from Mazzucchelli.

Nowadays, we only see petroleum-based resins, but the ancestors of resins were made from plants. The challenge to synthetic resins began about 200 years ago. Artificial ivory made from cellulose (cotton) was invented, and this was said to be the world's first resin. In this way, "acetate" was originally made from plant fibers. Although it is called "resin," acetate is not a chemical fiber. It is actually a plant fiber made from cotton and high-purity pulp. Since it is a plant fiber, it is an organic material just like humans, so it is gentle on the skin and has few allergies, and therefore it feels warm even when applied directly to the skin. KISSO uses unique techniques developed through the production of eyeglasses to bond these acetate sheets together, carve them out, and go through dozens of processes and polishing steps to create its products.
