TRICOTE, with its bright and cheerful taste, asked us to create the STONE series from an original pattern. This pattern was created by combining the concepts of both TRICOTE, which often uses nature as a motif, and ZUTTO, which introduces items that deepen their appeal over time as they are used and cherished. The result is a light and fun pattern that will make you feel better every time you use it.

The circle, a shape that symbolizes eternity that will last forever, is a shape that gives a sense of security to those who see it. TRICOTE is a brand that creates pop patterns, but in fact, they are often inspired by natural objects, landscapes, and phenomena. Therefore, we considered applying the meaning and shape of the circle to the natural world, and chose stones as our motif. Stones come in a variety of shapes, but the shape of a stone that is rubbed by nature and gradually becomes rounded corresponds to the appearance of a stone that is used for a long time while enjoying the changes over time, which ZUTTO values. Thus, rounded stones that have been softly transformed by nature are layered and incorporated into the design.

The weaving machine can only read paper data, but in order to bring out the texture that can only be achieved with an old loom, the machine was modified to read digital data. Or, original strings are made using a machine called a cross set lace machine, which is used to make tapes and fringes, or a modern knitting machine is daringly employed to weave gloves in order to achieve a good balance of shape and pattern....
