Modern Functions

The biggest feature of this watch is that it is an alarm with a wireless charging function. This watch also solves the problem of spending too much time looking at the smartphone screen before going to bed.

Functionalist design

It began in 1921 when engineer Max Braun built a factory in Frankfurt. It started by manufacturing radio parts, and grew into a radio manufacturing company in 1929.
After the death of founder Max Braun, his son took over and, as he was reviewing the concept and deciding the future direction, hired Diter Rams as a designer. The decision to hire a designer began with imagining the type of customer who would use Braun products, and came to the conclusion that it would be someone who was intelligent, had a flexible way of thinking, and would enjoy unobtrusive products that would give them the freedom to find their own fulfillment.

Rams' design, which combined a simple appearance and easy-to-read design with innovative technology, was selected for Moma's permanent collection in the late 1950s shortly after its adoption, and became recognized around the world as a new standard. A complete design that has been loved since its release could also be called a "functionalist design."
