A handmade stuffed animal from Kathe Kruse. The rabbit HUGO is a charming friend.
Hugo's long, swaying ears make him look like he's always having fun. His comforting hugs give children a sense of security that they won't want to let go. He's good at putting children to sleep, but he also loves to play energetically. He watches over his children with a small Waldorf doll in his pocket.
So cute that adults will want to hug him too
Hugo is wearing flannel checked overalls. His body is soft and warm, and he is a cute rabbit with an adorable expression that makes him seem like he's jumped out of a picture book.
The comfortable feel of the terry cloth is made only from natural materials such as organic cotton jersey. From small children who want to put everything in their mouths to children who enjoy playing house, this stuffed animal will be a friend who will watch over your child's growth closely. Made from safe and secure materials, it can be played with by newborns, so it is also recommended as a gift for a birth celebration or a birthday present.
Handmade Waldorf Doll
The warmth of your hands always reaches the heart. Waldorf dolls are dolls with modest eyes and mouths so that children can project their own feelings onto them. They are handmade using natural materials.
They are characterized by their ability to empathize with children's feelings that cannot be expressed well in words, and appear to have happy expressions when they are happy and sad expressions when they are sad, stimulating imagination and creativity.
This plays a major role in Steiner education, which respects the individuality and abilities of children. In this educational method, which values the sensibilities of each individual with a completely different personality, it is said that children project their emotions and imagination onto the doll, practicing emotional expression and promoting the development of balance between the mind and body. Kathe Kruse is the official licensee of such Waldorf dolls.
Friends with warm expressions
When you ask a German person, "What comes to mind when you think of German dolls?", most people will answer Kathe Kruse.
Kathe Kruse is a doll manufacturer that started in 1911 in a small workshop in Germany. It began when a woman named Kathe Kruse wanted to give her daughters dolls with warm expressions to play with, and made dolls that satisfied her. At the time, hard, cold dolls made of ceramic were mainstream, and her soft dolls that could be played with by newborns were rare. The handmade dolls that started with one painter and five seamstresses were well-received at a toy exhibition, and established their status as representative German dolls. Even now, more than 100 years later, they still cherish traditional craftsmanship while also facing innovations to suit the current era.
