If we trace the process of making each piece of clothing back to the act of wearing clothes, there are many backgrounds to it, such as deciding on the shape, narrowing down the color, and choosing the material. If we can make a piece of clothing without compromising on all of these aspects, it will surely be called a one-of-a-kind piece of clothing.

The clothes from FACTORY that we introduce here are all masterpieces that are made with great care in every step of the clothing making process. It's amazing how the shape, color, and texture all have meaning without words.

Classy balloon silhouette

Saruel pants are bottoms with a deep rise pattern. When you stand up straight, they look like a skirt at first glance, but they are made like long culottes, so they are easy to move your legs and walk in. The waist is made of gathered elastic and drawstring, making it a comfortable design that is stress-free to wear. It subtly covers the body shape from the thighs to the calves, and the length allows you to see your ankles, so you can create a wide range of coordination options by matching it with shoes.

At first glance, the indigo-dyed fabric looks like a stiff denim fabric, but when you touch it, you can feel the quality of the very soft and fine cotton material. It is also good that you can fully enjoy the comfort that is the goodness of sarouel pants without being stiff. It is smooth to wear and allows air to pass through well, so it does not get stuffy, and it is comfortable even in the sweaty season.

The sarouel pants look like a straight silhouette, but they are actually a tricky design, and the interesting thing is that they look completely different depending on the top and accessories you combine them with, from a casual T-shirt and sneakers to an airy thin knit and leather lace shoes. A unique atmosphere created by our own hands

The brand's predecessor was a boutique that opened in 1978. It originally started as a store selling purchased clothes, but in 1983, the company changed its policy to manufacture all of its products in-house, built a factory behind the store, and launched the brand "FACTORY" to develop original clothing.

The brand started with just one sewing machine, and as more and more people joined, they continued to make clothes that fit the bodies of their customers. In 1990, they began traveling overseas in search of materials in order to create more original products, and also established a dyeing studio. Although they were small, they continued to make clothes with a particular attention to detail, and the current form of creation was born, in which they handle all of the planning, material development, manufacturing, and production themselves.

All of FACTORY's design patterns are created in a design atelier in Tokyo. Staff with experience in collection brands and extensive pattern-making experience create all the garments using three-dimensional cutting, and by repeatedly sewing samples, they create one-of-a-kind garments that are "timeless and comfortable to wear" and "simple, but a little unique." The clothes are then made based on the patterns they create at their own factory in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture. In addition to cutting and sewing, they are also particular about "dyeing" the products and raw materials at the attached dyeing factory. This manufacturing style is consistent in that the atmosphere of Ashikaga, a place that has a long history of textile manufacturing, is reflected in the clothes.
