The [Special Order] PEARL Petal combines delicate glass motifs to bring out the translucent freshwater pearls. High-quality freshwater pearls, produced with advanced cultivation techniques, have a smooth luster and soft shine, which blends beautifully with the transparency of the glass.

The motif is inspired by the shape of a petal that curls up like a shell over time. Rather than a fresh petal, the design captures the delicate expression that emerges in the passing of time and the beauty of gently capturing the air of that moment.

ZUTTO's [Special Order] PEARL series is a slightly special accessory made of glass and pearls. Pearl accessories make skin look beautiful at any age, so no matter how many you have, you'll be happy. Rather than "formal pearl accessories" worn at weddings and funerals, wouldn't it be more fun to coordinate with pearl accessories designed to be worn casually with simple T-shirts, knitwear, and denim styles? This is what got us started on the project.

The new [Special Order] PEARL Petal, like the previous series, cherishes the soft shine of pearls and the beauty of delicate glass motifs, but by using ingenuity in the materials, it has been made into an accessory that is more casual and easy to pick up. Not only for special occasions, but also pair it with a simple T-shirt or knitwear. The subtle yet elegant shine gently colors your everyday outfit. In addition, the cute and neat design like a small flower makes it the perfect gift for birthdays and Christmas.

[Special order] In addition to Petal, the PEARL series also includes the small and cute "Plum Blossom," the "Lunaria" with its overlapping petal motif, and the cute and plump "Jelly Drops" like gummy candy. Wearing the whole series makes the glass motif stand out even more, and it fits dignifiedly against your face.

Training glass craftsmen and taking on new forms

HARIO Lampwork Factory is a handmade brand created by HARIO, a domestic glass manufacturer founded in 1921. It produces glass items that can only be made by hand. HARIO is famous for its kitchen and tableware, such as coffee utensils and tableware, but when it was first founded, craftsmen made scientific equipment and tableware one by one by hand. As demand increased, machine manufacturing progressed for efficiency and craftsmen's handiwork decreased. This means that craftsmen's handiwork was interrupted and planning and development to create new technologies and new products could no longer be done. In the midst of this, HARIO Lampwork Factory was launched with the desire to return to the origin and deliver works carefully made by glass craftsmen, and to pass on the hand-processing techniques to the next generation.

The extremely pure material "heat-resistant glass" is brought to life by the hands of artisans, who shape it into delicate products one by one. When you step into the HARIO Lampwork Factory workshop, you will hear the sound of a burner used for lampwork (also called burner work). The glass rods used for the accessories are melted by placing them over the flame of the burner, and the artisans use tools to shape them into various silhouettes. The glass melted in a 2000-degree flame cools and hardens over time, so burner work is a race against time. It is a delicate handiwork that uses tools to make small teardrop shapes, petals, and snowflakes.
