The proprietary "BARRIER EFFECT." is a flexible and stretchy material. The outer material is a ripstop fabric (woven in a grid pattern, a durable fabric that does not tear even if it is torn) made of very fine 15D thread, and the lining is made of ultra-thin and lightweight 7 micron tricot fabric. The thread used is also moderately stretchy, so it fits the body well and allows for easy movement. It feels smooth to the touch and is comfortable to wear even when sweaty, without the lining. The seams are also seam-sealed to prevent water from seeping in, so you can wear it for long periods of time without worry.
