It is an organizer for stationery and letters made of a natural oak tree. Removable slices of wood are inserted into the diagonal box to divide the partitions. Surprisingly, the box does not use any box nails. Artisans assemble the wooden parts by the traditional woodworking technique called "Arare-gumi" that makes finger joints to assemble wood boards.

Once people use trees from the forest, the forest needs to care regularly. Otherwise, it will be devastated. It is important to keep the forest healthy by moderately thinning trees, cutting trees, and making a few changes.

Oak Village has started the NPO called Donguri no Kai (Acorn Club), with the idea of ​​“If we take one tree from a forest, we must give one back." The brand advocates “one child, one acorn” to encourage the participation of the general public, raising acorns at home and planting them in the mountains, pruning secondary forest, cutting undergrowth, and thinning all over Japan.
