"Weavers of Lapua"
LAPUAN KANKURIT means "Lapuan weavers".
Its history dates back about 100 years. It was born in Lapua, a small town in the northwest of Finland with a population of about 15,000. Lapua has long been home to many small factories, and has been an area where handicrafts such as woodworking and textiles were popular.
It was a time of poverty and lack of resources. The company's origins date back to a time when yarn and hemp were made in ordinary households, when the founder's great-grandfather, Juho Annala, began producing felt boots using scrap wood and yarn he spun himself.
Later, in 1973, LAPUAN KANKURIT was established as a textile company from a textile factory.
LAPUAN KANKURIT makes wool and linen items such as shawls, blankets, and hot water bottles using high-quality textiles made from high-quality natural materials by the hands of skilled staff.
Please choose it as a gift for a loved one or as a Christmas present.

「ラプアの織り手たち」を意味するLAPUAN KANKURIT(ラプアンカンクリ)。
