The origin of an Eastern European shoe manufacturer

NOVESTA was founded in 1939 by JanAntoninBata, the founder family of BataGroup, in a small town called Partizánske, located in central Slovakia, former Czech Slovakia. It starts with that. This area later developed into BATA Industrial Park, a well-known area as a shoe factory. NOVESTA eventually became the largest shoe factory in Slovakia in this area, and after 1950, it was commissioned to produce military trainer shoes worldwide.

Shoe factories specializing in rubber and canvas products are influenced by the Second World War, the Cold War, the socialist era and the history of the nation's division. We have been making wear consistently since our founding. In 1992, after the Czech and Slovakia divisions, the company became famous as one of Europe's leading factories during the first half of the century, and the pure Slovak sneaker brand, NOVESTA, was born.

NOVESTA, which focuses on quality, has built a production system that meets high environmental and social standards. Almost all products are born from carefully selected natural materials such as natural rubber, cotton and linen, and 90% of the sneaker process created by the vulcanized manufacturing method is handmade by craftsmen.
