When we explored the history of soap in Japan, we went back to the 16th century when it was introduced with a gun by a southern dredger from Portugal. Soap that was first used for medicinal purposes and then used as daily necessities and cosmetics. At that time, there were two major soap manufacturers in Portugal, but now only CLAUSPORTO is the oldest in Portugal. CLAUSPORTO, which has been loved in more than 50 countries around the world, produces soap with a high quality fragrance using old-fashioned machines since its inception.

Traditional soap

The soap manufacturing process has not changed over time, and it uses environmentally friendly 100% biodegradable plant-derived cleaning ingredients as the main ingredient and safe materials that do not contain any chemical substances. The raw materials are kneaded 3 times to prevent the soap from melting and lasting. The paste particles are finely divided and then compressed further to achieve softness. After that, a fragrance that faintly scents on the skin is added to create a smooth finish. They are then cut into rods and carved one by one while moving the pedal-type machine. After that, they are laid down for 2-3 weeks, and finally they are wrapped carefully one by one.

Perfume-like soap

The finished soap has a gorgeous scent of high-quality aromas from Grasse, the capital of fragrance. The charm of CLAUSPORTO soap is that you can enjoy the top note, heart note, and base note just like perfume. The scent does not change with time like perfume, but the soap has three layers like this and you can enjoy the scent.

[6] AGUA DE COLONIA
Lightly scented with myrrh and patchouli. A timeless and unique scent with a touch of tradition mixed with fresh sandalwood notes.

[7] DOUBLE ALMOND
Sweet violet and fig extracts mix with tonka bean, leaving a sweet almond powder scent.

[8] LEAO VERDE
A hint of vanilla is the base, followed by an elegant aroma of spice.

[9] CHICKEN
The main scent is the fresh scent of lemongrass and the faint citrus of lime. The light scent of white jasmine and ylang-ylang is striking.

[10] 8741 ★
8741 with a lightly fragrant fruity woody note. Sandalwood and musk create a striking scent contrasted with notes of mimosa, pear and geranium.

[11] LAVANDRE ★
Enveloped in sophisticated lavender and sweet, elegant vanilla scents.
