Akebia basket bags are popular products that ZUTTO introduces for years and years. For this summer, we have made a bespoke bag with the new design.

 

 

 

 

Our special Akebia basket bag

 

ZUTTO introduces you a new Akebia basket bag called BESPOKE AKEBIA BASKET BAG WITH A LEATHER STRAP. It is a square bag with braided handles and has a leather strap as well. The leather strap can adjust its size and is removable.

 

To make the bag more useful, the bag is made in multi-functioned.

 

 

 

 

Feature 1: "Ears" for the strap

 

For other Akebia basket bag of MIYAMOTO KOUGEI, the bags look simple and plain design, but we put "ears" for the bag this time. "Ears," that is, belt loops are placed on both sides of the bag so that the leather strap can be put through.

 

 

 

We designed the "ears" not to be stood out. You can carry the bag naturally without the strap.

 

 

Feature 2： Removable brown leather strap

 

ZUTTO chose a brown leather strap for the bag. It is flexible but durable and you can enjoy the aging as time goes on.

 

 

The length is about 120cm and can be adjusted between 95-110cm. Both of our staff members with the height of 165cm and 158cm could use the bag as a shoulder bag.

 

 

Even the metallic studs change their colors as you keep using the bag.

 

 

MIYAMOTO KOUGEI's Akebia basket bag

 

MIYAMOTO KOUGEI is founded in Aomori Prefecture of Japan. In the mountains of Aomori, there are Akebia vines with good quality. For BESPOKE AKEBIA BASKET BAG WITH A LEATHER STRAP, manufactures choose thin Akebia vines that have almost same length. It is hard now to prepare the vines with same length since the amount of Akebia is decreasing. 

Artisans weave those thin Akebia vines uniformly. It takes a lot of time to make just one bag.

 

BESPOKE AKEBIA BASKET BAG WITH A LEATHER STRAP is perfect for weekends and outing. You can place your wallet, a small paperback, a plastic bottle (350m), and an umbrella.

FAQ for Akebia basket bag

 

Q. Does the basket bag sometimes damage luggage? I see some edges of Akebia.

A. The basket bag uses Akebia vines with the proper length for a bag, and the manufacturer cut the edges precisely. Therefore, your luggage can be safely stored inside. If you concern about the damage, we recommend using an inner bag.

 

Q. Does the basket bag get loosen if I keep using it?

A. The manufacturer weaves basket bags tightly, but sometimes the vines get loosen. The manufacturer, MIYAMOTO KOUGEI would repair in the cases. Please let our customer support if you want to repair.

Q. How can I care the basket bag?

A. Please wipe your bag after use with a dry soft cloth. Brushing with a clothes brush works as well. 

 

Q. How can I store the basket bag?

A. Please keep the bag away from humid. Humid can be the cause for mold or moth holes. Please refuse from using on a rainy day and should be stored in an airy place.

We believe using the bag frequently is the most important care for the product. By using the bag, it would be protected from humid or dust, the color of the bag gets darker, and the surface would be more smooth.
