Billingham's history began when his wife, Ros Billingham, handcrafted a bag to carry the equipment used for photography, a hobby of the founder Martin Billingham. Eventually, the handmade bag became popular, and the number of people who wanted it increased. Billingham started the bag brand in 1973 and has reached the present day.
