Pioneer of shopping bags

Reisenthel was founded in 1971 in Munich, Germany. It all started when founder Peter Reisenthel made a key chain at an exhibition in Frankfurt. After that, he manufactured bags from linen and leather, and from 1990, he started developing bags that can be conveniently carried and focused on manufacturing shopping bags. In 2003, we introduced a modern version of the rattan basket, a carry bag made of aluminum and textiles that is not too expensive, has a simple design, and is functional and easy to use. We also produce many other popular products.
