Traditional Abarka sandals handmade on the island of Menorca, Spain. The sandals were originally made to protect the feet of island workers working in hot and dry land from the ground, and are widely worn by children and adults locally. When Noelia, the founder of AVARCA PONS, moved from Barcelona to the United States in 2004, she learned that it was not well known overseas and started selling it in the United States. After that, it became recognized worldwide as fashion and is widely used all over the world.
