Zuriñe Gurpegi was born into a family that ran a mountaineering clothing store in the textile industry, and launched this brand in 2017. Originally from Pamplona, Spain, Gurpegi was home to noble craftsmen who carefully made traditional Spanish clothing. Believing that "clothing production should be a noble job," he started his activities in Muzuki, a small village in the Gesaratz Valley in the northeast. He started out by making traditional worker shirts, making use of his experience studying architecture, and now places emphasis on quality in his manufacturing, producing only what is needed for two exhibitions a year. He makes valuable clothes that are different from mass production.
