Two sizes are available. The history of Swedish glass begins in the Småland region, located in the forested highlands of southern Sweden. Forests and water are important elements for the glass industry, and this richness of nature is one of the reasons why glass has developed in Småland. In the 20th and 21st centuries it was also home to several manufacturers that became famous for Swedish glass. In recent years, some brands have moved to mechanization and manufacturing overseas, but in this region, handmade products have continued for over 250 years, and the refined techniques have been passed down to the next generation.

SKRUF is a long-established glass manufacturer that has been in business since 1897 in Småland, southern Sweden. The Småland region is also known as Glasriket, which means the kingdom of glass in Swedish, and is still dotted with many glass workshops. It's a thing. All glass made by SKRUF is handmade. The slightly fluctuating contours and moderate thickness of blown glass give a strange impression of softness and warmth, unlike the general impression that glass is hard and cold.
