All glass made by SKRUF, a long-established glass maker in Småland in the south of Sweden since 1897, is handmade. The slightly fluctuating contours and moderate thickness of blown glass give a strange feeling of softness and warmth, unlike the general impression of hard and cold glass. Many designers, such as Ingegerdroman, have designed in the long history, and now designer and glass artist Carina Ness and her girlfriend Anderson are working on many.
