Quick and easy to pick up

This is a washi square that contains 8 square sheets of washi, which can be used smartly in any situation. This product is recommended for those who are worried about whether they can use up a roll of Japanese Sarashi, and it allows you to easily incorporate Japanese Sarashi into your daily life.Stocker is made of solid oak wood that fits in with your living space, and is designed with corners cut off so that it can be used "quickly" when needed, so you can use Wasarashi comfortably in the kitchen, at the dining table, or anywhere else.

Two designs are available, with or without a dedicated stocker. The Stocker is made of solid oak wood that blends in with your living space, and the box does not come with a stocker but has an 8-piece set of exterior parts that can be used as a storage box. Both are designed with cut corners so that you can use it quickly when you need it, so you can use wasarashi comfortably anywhere, such as the kitchen or dining table.

A versatile wasarashi cloth that can be used quickly for various purposes such as wiping, squeezing, wrapping, laying, polishing, brewing, filtering, steaming, and draining water, as a cooking cloth or cleaning cloth. The texture starts out crisp, but the more you use it, the more it becomes familiar, making it a charm that makes you want to use it with your cooking utensils.
The wasarashi cloth is heat resistant and highly absorbent. It has four features: it dries quickly even when wet, so it is hygienic, and it is durable so it can be used over and over again. In Japan, it has been an important tool for wiping and straining water in the kitchen since ancient times.

It can be used endlessly depending on your ideas

Now, from the perspective of environmental consideration, bleached cloth is being reconsidered again.

Some people may feel reluctant to use kitchen paper, plastic wrap, and cooking sheets that are disposable during cooking. In addition to these issues, some people are reluctant to use paper paper to remove moisture from vegetables, meat, and fish, as they are afraid that it will tear.

Bleached cloth does not require such worries or care, and can be washed and used over and over again, replacing various consumables that have been used up until now. And every time you use it, wash it, and dry it, you will feel more comfortable using it and become more attached to it. The fabric is made of Okakiji, which has a fine and smooth texture. This fabric is also used for tenugui towels, and because it is made with fine threads, it has a fine mesh, and the smooth feel and soft texture are just like tenugui.

Bleached cloth can be used for a variety of purposes. By unifying the cloth products and consumables in your kitchen with this off-white bleached cloth, you can create an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are closer to the taste of a good cook's kitchen, and the small actions of not using disposable cloth can even change your mood when you are standing there.

Change your housework by switching to bleached cloth

・Use it as a towel to dry your hands. (It dries quickly, so you can replace it frequently and it is hygienic)
・Use it to wipe dishes and countertops. (It is easy to wipe glasses, and it wipes the grooves of plates and storage containers thoroughly)
・Use it to drain vegetables and tofu. (Unlike paper, it does not tear, so you can feel safe and secure)
・Use it as a steaming cloth for a bamboo steamer or waterless pot. (It is heat resistant and safe)
・Use it as a filter for a dripper to make coffee. (The bleached cloth turns coffee color every time you use it, which is a joy.)

- Filtering soup stock. (Produces clear soup stock without any cloudiness.)

- Making rice balls. (If you wet it, you can easily make hot rice balls and make shiny rice balls.)

- As a cleaning rag.

It can be used in a variety of ways, from wiping your hands and vegetables to wiping dishes and counters. Finally, it can be used for cleaning. It is a good bleached cloth that can be used for various purposes without waste. Even though it is cloth, it can be easily cut off as much as you need, and leaving it cut prevents the accumulation of bacteria.

Ancient Japanese bleached cloth

Sasasa products are manufactured by Takeda Bashi Factory, a long-established manufacturer with 100 years of experience in bleached cloth manufacturing. Japanese bleaching is generally made using chemicals to remove lipids and impurities from natural cotton before dyeing, but Takeda Bleaching Factory has its own environmentally friendly manufacturing technology for Japanese bleaching and does not use any strong chemicals such as chemical soda. By using dyeing that is not burdensome and minimizing the amount of chemicals, we create white bleached fabric while retaining the pigments and scent of natural cotton fibers.

We also recommend Sasasa's Japanese Bleaching Square to those looking for a unique gift. It is a great gift for those who are environmentally conscious, interested in Japanese culture, and those who like to read lifestyle magazines. It is also recommended as a housewarming gift or a gift for a special occasion. Learn the comfort of bleaching and take small steps to reduce waste and garbage in your life.

Sasasa

In 1911, Takeda Kikumatsu, the founder of the Takeda bleaching factory, focused on the high-quality Ishizu River flowing through the pore village of Sakai City, Osaka, and began Japanese bleaching processing using the water. The brand was established with the aim of proposing bleaching, which is becoming less popular due to the passage of time, into modern life while inheriting the inherited technology in Japanese bleaching, which is also an ancient Japanese bleaching culture. We are re-examining the value of "wa-bleaching" and proposing "wa-bleaching" that is easy to use in modern life.
