TRICOTE proposes colorful items that make your daily life more enjoyable by incorporating the possibilities that expand from a single thread into textiles. We create a variety of knit items with textures that cannot be achieved with new machines, cherishing the few remaining rare looms, and paying close attention to the techniques unique to looms that have been in use for 40 years. Using knitting machines tailored to each item, we create a wide variety of items, including stoles, socks, clothing, bags, hats, and miscellaneous items that add color to your life. For example, the Jacquard machine manufactured by Bentley in England, which has been in use for 40 years, is used to manufacture the stalls produced by TRICOTE. This loom can only read paper data, but in order to take advantage of the texture that only vintage looms can produce, we have modified it so that it can read digital data, creating original fabrics that cannot be created with newer machines. It makes you feel the commitment to knitting. Or, we make original laces using a machine called a crosset lace machine that makes tapes and fringe, or use modern knitting machines to create a good balance between shape and pattern for knitting gloves. . In this way, by combining different types of threads and types of knitting, textiles can be created infinitely, and unique manufacturing is created through the combination of technology and design.
