Lapero is the brand derived from Fukuda Gloves, which is the oldest glove manufacturer in Japan established in 1913. Higashi-Kagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture, has been a major production area of gloves since 1888. The manufacturer utilized many kinds of materials from leather and knitwear to the latest high-performance fibers and made high-quality gloves called “Kagawa Gloves” with delicate and precise sewing techniques. Along with the highly sophisticated techniques, the manufacturer launched the new glove brand Lapero in 2009 to broaden the quality of Kagawa Gloves to the world.
