In 2001, the founder who worked for an injection molding machine manufacturer in Germany encountered a material called zirconia, and unlike metal cutlery, zirconia cutlery that is tasteless, odorless and does not generate a metallic odor has a slight taste. I started making things that I think I can taste the Japanese food that I cherish as it is. He joined his father's plastic processor in 2005 and began researching zirconia materials, establishing a zirconia research department in 2007. Utilizing the experience cultivated in the injection molding machine / plastic and the previous job, we will complete the difficult zirconia cutlery while applying the processing technology. We started the brand ZIKICO in 2015 and have delivered a number of items to the world with the goal of "making it a new traditional craft in 100 years". In 2017 and 2019, we won the design award, and all of them are not only about materials but also about design.
