Nankaze Kogei was founded in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture in 1979. Currently, it is produced in Hiji Town, located on the north side of Beppu City. Nanpu Kogei has a desire to engage in bamboo crafts with a new system that focuses on quality and sells products at reasonable prices, so we handle everything in-house, from the procurement of materials to manufacturing and sales. Nanka Kogei creates bamboo crafts that are easy to use and fit into everyday life, rather than as crafts or as daily necessities. Although there are very few companies in the production area that handle everything from material procurement to manufacturing and sales, we take care of everything from mountain management to supplying materials to artists, and we are passing Beppu bamboo crafts into the future from a new perspective.
