BRITA SWEDEN is a textile brand established in 2010 by mother Margaretta, sister peers and Monica's parents and children. The brand name BRITA is derived from the name of Margaretta's grandmother who was a craftsman. Originally plastic rugs are a traditional product made in Sweden since the 1940s, familiar to everyone in Sweden. Skilled craftsmen are handmade one by one using the looms of that time.
Margaretta, who learned textiles and knitwear from her grandmother and mother, was proud of her family who was a handicraft craftsman. Began making organic bedding, apron, and plastic rugs made in 2009 gained popularity. In 2010, the brand was established. Currently, we are developing rugs with various fabrics, including not only natural materials such as wool and cotton, but also eco materials such as recycled plastic bottles.
