Ranas, a city in Denmark's northern Jutland peninsula, has been actively producing gloves since the 13th century. In 1811, in order to rebuild the glove industry, which had ceased production at the time, the then mayor recruited skilled craftsmen from each year and established RANDERS HANDSKER. Later, they acquired French glove cutting, sewing, and tanning techniques, and gradually gained recognition as RANDERS HANDSKER's unique techniques. Despite the turmoil of World Wars I and II, as well as sales and acquisitions, we still carry out all processes in-house, from leather tanning to dyeing, cutting, and sewing, using traditional manufacturing methods that have continued for 200 years.
