Changing the image of Hanten

We aim to create a new piece of clothing that takes advantage of the charm of traditional Hanten while also fitting in with modern lifestyles. This idea led to a design that was carefully crafted down to the smallest detail.

The sophisticated form reminiscent of a jacket is the ideal shape derived from many prototypes. Every element has been carefully woven, from the sleeve length and hem balance to the line around the shoulders. The M and L sizes are a style that suits anyone regardless of gender or age. The LL size is designed to be roomy and comfortable, even for people with a large build.

M size / L size ... The length is short and neat. The sleeve length is a well-balanced length that is more similar to a regular jacket than a hanten.

LL size ... The length is about the same as a regular hanten. It has an image similar to a windbreaker or long coat. The sleeve length is long enough to cover the wrists.

The color is a dignified "ink" that evokes the world of Japanese painting and calligraphy. The deep color gives a stylish impression not only indoors but also on the go.

The material is soft gauze fabric. The gauze has excellent moisture absorption and release properties, so it does not get stuffy, and it is lightweight and thin, so it dries quickly after washing. It is recommended for people with sensitive skin or those who do not like chemical fibers. In addition, the double-layered fabric with moderate heat retention keeps you warm even on cold days.

The inside is fully lined so the seams do not come into direct contact with the skin, and it feels comfortable even when touched by bare skin. It is made of high-quality materials that are also used for futons, so it is comfortable not only for everyday use but also for long periods of relaxation.

SaFo/heart, named after the word "etiquette," is an organic cotton textile brand. Its parent company is a futon manufacturer founded in Kochi Prefecture in 1988. The brand was started with the desire to deliver safe and secure products above all else, and its origins lie in the founder's child's illness. When my child was 6 years old, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance due to asthma caused by allergies, but he survived. This incident prompted us to start developing a futon that would allow people who are suffering so much from allergies that they can't sleep at night or who are physically weak to sleep in peace.

We produce everything in-house, from hand-loosening carefully selected organic cotton to processing, molding, and sewing. Not only do we not use chemicals that are harmful to the human body, but we also have the international organic certification "Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)" from the global certification agency ECOCERT. There are only a few bedding companies in the world that have obtained the organic certification GOTS. SaFo/heart believes that being natural and organic is "etiquette." It is a comfortable organic brand that gives you a sense of security every time you use it.
